Here's a super easy dinner for two to try with minimal effort
Ingredients
Pork
- 6 pork belly slices
- 1 litre of chicken stock
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ginger
- 1 tbsp of sugar
Glaze
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of honey/maple syrup
- ginger
- salt
- pepper
- chilli
- lemon grass
- vegetable oil
Method
- Add all the pork ingredients to a heavy bottom casserole dish, bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 2 hours
- Take out the pork of the liquid - keep to make soup later on
- Lightly fry the pork in a frying pan until golden
- Add the glaze ingredients and cook until the glaze is thick and syrupy - Remember to baste the pork as its cooking.
Serve with some stir fried veggies or rice - Easy!
